Fortino Mario Afonso Moreno Reyes

Fortino Mario Alfonso Moreno Reyes (August 12, 1911- April 20, 1993), better know as Cantinflas, was a Mexican actor and comedian.

He earned wide popularity with the interpretation of his character Cantinflas, a man from the slums wich originated pelado. The character was associated with Mexico's national identy and allowed Moreno stablish a long successful career that included a film in hollywood. In latinoamerica and Spain, where he stillhas many admirers.

Fortino Mario Alfonso Moreno Reyes , was born in Santa Maria la Redonda, Mexico City in August 12, 1911. He was the sixth of twelve childrens, the son of Pedro Moreno Esquivel and Soledad Reyes Guizar. He did well at school. He studied law and he is a good actor of comedy inter alia works.
